John Decoteau

John Decoteau has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Marine Corps Recruiter and Logistics Manager in the United States Marine Corps from 1994 to 2001. John achieved multiple meritorious promotions and significantly increased enlistment rates.

From 2001 to 2009, John worked at Optimum Mortgage Group and Residential Mortgage Center. John served as a Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, where they achieved the Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist (CRMS) designation. John was responsible for managing sales, call center operations, and training new personnel.

Since 2009, John has been working at Universal Technical Institute, Inc. Their roles include Vice President Military Admissions, Vice President Campus and Military Admissions, and Vice President Military and Military Admissions Director. John had direct responsibility for recruitment initiatives and expanding the customer base in the military market.

Throughout their career, John has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, achieved revenue growth, and built relationships with key stakeholders.

John Decoteau attended Ocean Springs High School for their high school education. After that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Southern New Hampshire University from 2019 to 2020. Prior to this, they completed their Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the same university from 2017 to 2019.
