Robert Jordan has an extensive work experience in the field of education and instructional design. Robert is currently the Director of Instructional Design and Digital Learning at Universal Technical Institute, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Educational Technology and Media at Colorado State University Online from 2020 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Curriculum Quality & Process Manager at Colorado State University-Global Campus. Robert also held positions at Colorado State University, where they were the Director of Digital Liberal Arts Hub in 2016-2017 and an Instructor in the Department of History from 2012 to 2017. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2008 to 2012. Robert started their career as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of History at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2007.
Robert Jordan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Latin American History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they obtained between 2008 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Latin American History from The University of Texas at Dallas, completing it between 2005 and 2008. Robert completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Robert Jordan has obtained a certification in "Applying the QM Rubric" from QM Quality Matters in the year 2020.
