John Hewett Mraes

John Hewett MRAeS has a strong work experience in the aviation industry. John has held several leadership roles in different companies. From 2017 to present, they have been the Director of Sales and Account Management - EMEA at Universal Weather and Aviation, where they lead a sales team and explores sales opportunities. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2016, they worked at MoonJet Flight Support as the Head of Business Development and European Manager, focusing on business growth and customer satisfaction. Earlier in their career, from 2001 to 2010, they served as the Dispatch Manager at MK Airlines, where they ensured on-time performance and dealt with high-pressure situations.

John Hewett MRAeS attended East Surrey College from 1999 to 2001 where they earned a BTEC degree in Aviation Management and Operations. John also obtained additional certifications including MRAeS from the Royal Aeronautical Society in June 2019, Excellence in Sales Leadership and Dimensions of Professional Selling from Carew International in October 2017 and September 2017 respectively. John has received certifications in fields such as airfield operations, aviation commercial studies, emergency planning, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, introduction to principles of flight, Jeppesen Jetplanner Flight Planning, meteorological studies, and weight and balance, though the exact dates of the certifications are unknown.
