Paloma Yocasta Phillips Carela

Paloma Yocasta Phillips Carela is an experienced educator and designer with a focus on creativity, technology integration, and communication. Currently serving as a Maestro at Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo since September 2023, Paloma shares knowledge in creativity and design while also learning from colleagues and students. As an Instructor de Tecnología Educativa at Universidad APEC since January 2016, Paloma trains educators on effectively integrating technology into their teaching. Additional roles include overseeing academic matters in the School of Arts & Communications, advising final year projects, and teaching at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). With a background in instructional design and freelance graphic design, Paloma has contributed to various organizations, including the Ministerio de la Mujer República Dominicana and IKEA Group. Paloma holds a Master's degree in Corporate Communication Management and a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from Universidad APEC.
