Jorge González

Jorge González is currently the Dean Faculty of Law – Center for Doctoral Studies at Universidad de los Andes. Prior to this, they were the Director Departamento de Filosofía e Jorge'storia del Derecho at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from January 2013 to December 2016. Before that, they were an Asesor Jurídico at the Departamento Administrativo de la Presidencia de la República from July 2001 to May 2004.

Jorge González is a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) with a focus in Derecho from Harvard Law School. Jorge also has a Magísteren Derecho (LL.M.) from Universidad de Los Andes, and has completed a Short Course in Human Rights from Nottingham Law School. Additionally, they are an Abogado from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Jorge González reports to Raquel Bernal, President. They are on a team with Silvia Restrepo Restrepo - Research Vice President, Luis Jorge Hernández - Dean Faculty of Medicine - Research Office, and Cinthia Carolina Sanchez Osorio - Directorate of Information and Technology Services.
