Sandra Vilardy

Sandra Vilardy is an accomplished academic and environmental policy expert with extensive experience in higher education and governmental roles. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, Sandra previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Environmental Policies and Standards at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. Leadership experience includes the role of Director at Parques Nacionales Como Vamos and various positions at Universidad del Magdalena, where Sandra served as a faculty professor, Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, and Coordinator of agreements. Sandra's research background includes work as a researcher at the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Ecology and Environment from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
