Eduardo Avila Zaragoza

Eduardo Avila Zaragoza serves as the Head of Global Supervisors Relations and Director de Global Accounting at BBVA since March 2011, and has been an Associate Professor in Banking and Financial Regulation at Universidad de Navarra since September 2014. Previously, Eduardo held the position of Chief Financial Officer at BBVA Bancomer and BBVA Continental, as well as Director de Consolidación at BBVA. Eduardo’s career began in financial analysis roles at Banco de Negocios Argentaria and Corporación Bancaria de España, with an initial position at Banco de España. Eduardo holds an MA in Multinational Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Reading and a Licenciado en Ciencias Economicas y Empresariales from CUNEF.
