Inés Barbero-Garcia

Inés Barbero-Garcia is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidad de Salamanca since March 2021, contributing to projects such as DETECTTHIA, which focuses on the detection and monitoring of non-melanoma skin tumors utilizing hyperspectral imaging and artificial intelligence. Previously, Inés worked as a visitor researcher at Delft University of Technology in 2022, collaborating on the CoastScan project aimed at coastal monitoring through 3D data and imaging. Inés earned a PhD in Geomatics from Universitat Politècnica de València, where the development of PhotoMeDAS, a smartphone-based photogrammetric tool for measuring cranial deformation in infants, was a key project during doctoral research. Inés's educational background includes multiple degrees in Geomatics and information management from leading institutions, establishing a robust foundation in the field.
