Fernando Alexis Osorio Vergara

Fernando Alexis Osorio Vergara is an accomplished educator and researcher currently serving as a Professor at Institución Universitaria ITM since September 2021 and pursuing a doctorate in engineering with a focus on seismic risk at Universidad EAFIT, where Fernando Alexis has been an active student and researcher since April 2015. Fernando contributed to the development of an exposure model for the metropolitan area of Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Prior to his current roles, Fernando worked as an engineering assistant at Coninsa Ramón H from December 2012 to January 2014, specializing in the modeling of reinforced concrete buildings and the preparation and review of structural plans. Fernando holds a doctorate and a master's degree in engineering with a specialization in seismic risk from Universidad EAFIT, along with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the same institution.
