Gonzalo Ordonez-Matamoros is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in public policy analysis, science, technology, and innovation policy. Currently serving as Dean and Professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia since February 2006, alongside roles as Visiting Professor and Assistant Professor at Universiteit Twente's Department of Science, Technology and Policy Studies since February 2010, and as Research Associate at Georgia Institute of Technology's Technology Policy and Assessment Center since 2006. Gonzalo has also held consultant positions with UNDP and USAID, served as Executive Director of the Observatorio Colombiano de Ciencia y Tecnología, and advised on strategic planning at Colciencias. Educational qualifications include dual PhDs in Public Policy from Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia State University, as well as master's degrees from Université Paris Nanterre and University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, complemented by a BA in Finance and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
