Javier Eduardo Mendoza serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia, teaching Ecology and Landscapes within the Master of Tourism Planning and Management program since February 2012. With extensive experience in environmental management and sustainable development, Javier has held significant roles including Director of GCF Project Development at Conservation International, where leadership was provided for the Green Climate Fund project portfolio across multiple Latin American countries. Prior positions include National Coordinator for UNDP Colombia's Report Mechanisms under UNFCCC and Technical Advisor for Colombia's Ministry of Environment, contributing to national policies and reports on biodiversity and climate change.
