Alma Vazquez has over 20 years of experience in international and external relations. Alma has held various leadership roles, including Head of International and External Relations at Real Centro Universitario Escorial-Mª Cristina, where they were responsible for creating networks among universities worldwide and providing international exchange opportunities. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Black & Decker and in the International Department at Hasbro Europe. Alma also has experience in consultancy project in HR at Arthur Andersen. Alma is currently the Head of International Relations Office at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
Alma Vazquez has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which they obtained in 1993. Alma then pursued a Master of Science in Business Management from the same university, completing it in 1998. Alma further enhanced their education by earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in European Management from ESCP Business School in 1996. In 2000, they obtained a PhD in Economy Policy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Additionally, Alma has completed various short-term programs and courses, including a career exploration and awareness skills program at Utrecht University in 2017, a Professional English Programme at the University of Hull in 2015, a course in Communicating Strategically at Purdue University in 2015, and a program on developing women leaders in university administration at UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2013.
