Ixent Galpin

Ixent Galpin has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as a Lecturer at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano since July 2013. Prior to this role, Ixent worked as a Research Associate at The University of Manchester from October 2005 to November 2011, and held a position as a Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters from October 2001 to October 2004. Ixent began the career as an English Teacher at Universidad de Ibagué from July 2000 to September 2001. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Advanced Computer Science from The University of Manchester, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Spanish from the University of Bristol and an International Baccalaureate from St Julian's School.
