Carlos Ivan Davila serves as the Director of Global Partnerships at the International Law Institute since May 2007 and has also held the position of Program Administrator and Regional Centers Coordinator. In addition, Carlos is an Adjunct Professor at Universidad La Salle Noroeste, a role commenced in January 2021. As an Independent Legal Consultant, Carlos has been active since May 2012 as an arbitrator and litigator. Previously, Carlos worked as Legal Counsel for FINCA International from September 2006 to May 2007 and was an Associate at Lic. Adolfo Davila Payan Law Firm from 1996 to 2005. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws in Investment and Commercial Arbitration from Georgetown University Law Center, a visiting student in International Law at the University of Arizona, a Master of Laws in International Trade Law from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Law degree from Universidad de Sonora.
