Flavia Terigi

Flavia Terigi serves as the Rectora of the Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento, a position held since 2006, while also fulfilling the role of Investigadora docente and Decana del Instituto del Desarrollo Humano. With a significant academic presence at the Universidad de Buenos Aires since 2010 as a profesora titular regular, Flavia leads courses focused on knowledge construction in educational contexts. Active in advocating for social justice since 1980, Flavia contributed as Coordinadora Académica for a UNICEF regional program from 2011 to 2013, overseeing research initiatives on policies for re-enrollment in secondary education. Previous positions include Subsecretaria de Educación at GCBA, where Flavia oversaw educational policy across various school frameworks from 2003 to 2006. Flavia holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, along with a Master's in Social Sciences and a degree in Education from other esteemed institutions.
