Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of collaborative solutions and hardware for innovative educational devices. Previously, Chris held positions as a Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies and as an Electronics Contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on the design and repair of educational tools. Additionally, Chris served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting with student labs and assessments. Prior experience includes the role of Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities included circuit design and software development for forestry control systems. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
