Antonio Escamilla

Antonio Escamilla is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as a Profesor Asociado at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana since January 2016, Antonio has also contributed to Universitat Oberta de Catalunya as a Researcher and Ph.D. student from September 2019 to October 2023. Prior to these roles, Antonio held positions as Profesor Asociado at Universidad de San Buenaventura and as Docente de Cátedra at Fundación Universitaria Bellas Artes from January 2011 to December 2015. Early experience includes an internship in the 3D Audio Group at Fundacio Barcelona Media in 2010. Antonio's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Network and Information Technologies from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, an MSc in Sound & Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, an Ingeniero de Sonido degree from Universidad de San Buenaventura, and an Ingeniero Electrónico degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
