Helena Carasek

Helena Carasek is the current Dean of Research & Innovation at Universidade Federal de Goiás. Helena has previously worked as a professor and researcher at the same institution.

Dr. Helena Carasek has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo and a post-doctoral degree in Durability of Construction from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse. Helena also has a master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on corrosion control of reinforced concrete, from the University of São Paulo. Helena completed their undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Paraíba.

Helena Carasek works with Vicente Ferreira - Planning & Evaluation Department Secretary, Lucilene Maria De Sousa - Chief of Staff, and Larissa Santos Pereira - Deputy Chief of Staff. Helena Carasek reports to Angelita Pereira De Lima, Dean of the Federal University of Goiás.
