Fernando Neves Lima

Fernando Neves Lima is a researcher specializing in hydrology forecasting, currently holding the position of postdoctoral researcher at INRAE since October 2024. As a professor at Universidade Federal de Itajubá since October 2015, Fernando teaches hydraulics and hydrology, and has expertise in risk analysis for dams, water resources management, and hydrological process modeling. Previously, Fernando completed a PhD in Water Resources at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2015 to 2019 and worked as a doctoral researcher at Irstea in 2017, focusing on hydrological modeling and applied hydrology. Earlier experience includes serving as a civil engineer at FAHMA Planejamento e Engenharia LTDA, where expertise in urban drainage and irrigation systems was developed. Fernando holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sanitation and Water Resources from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from UFOP.
