Fabricio Olivetti de França

Fabricio Olivetti de França is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as the Coordinator of the Computer Science graduate program and an Associate Professor at Universidade Federal do ABC since April 2012. With expertise in programming logic, problem solving, complex network analysis, data science, machine learning, and optimization algorithms, Fabricio actively conducts research in unsupervised and supervised learning, time series analysis, operations research, optimization, and logistics. Previous roles include a Researcher at Natcomp, focusing on recommendation systems for e-commerce and social networks, and a Ph.D. student at UNICAMP, developing algorithms for data imputation and novel recommender systems. Additionally, Fabricio has a background in project management for e-learning initiatives and programming for academic systems, complemented by a robust educational foundation in Artificial Intelligence and Electrical Engineering from esteemed Brazilian institutions.
