Matheus Cruz

Matheus Cruz serves as the Articulador Territorial II at BIREME/OPAS/OMS, focusing on intersectoral public policy networks. Concurrently, Matheus is a researcher at Universidade Federal do ABC in the African and Afro-Brazilian Studies Center, contributing to the project on Black History and Memory in the ABC region. Previous roles include teaching public planning at ETEC Cepam, coordinating technical courses, and managing projects aimed at supporting the LGBTQIA+ community during COVID-19. Matheus has also played significant roles in educational initiatives at Uneafro Brasil and municipal innovation projects in São Paulo. Currently pursuing a doctorate in World Political Economy, Matheus holds multiple degrees including a master’s and undergraduate degrees in public policies and economics from Universidade Federal do ABC.
