Nicola Bonora

Nicola Bonora is a distinguished academic and industry leader currently serving as Vice President at Parco scientifico e tecnologico del lazio meridionale since July 2024. Nicola has held the position of Department Chair for the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cassino since January 1996 and is a Full Professor at the Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Meccanica - Università di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale since November 2018. Additionally, Nicola is the C.E.O. of Techdyn Engineering, an applied research and engineering company specializing in advanced design and structural integrity assessment, among other areas. Nicola's prior experience includes a research fellowship at the Air Force Research Laboratory and positions as a Research Associate at Wayne State University and an Internal Researcher at Battelle. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and a Laurea in Aeronautical Engineering, both from Sapienza Università di Roma.
