Bart Limburg

Bart Limburg is an Associate Professor at Universitat de Barcelona since October 2022, with previous experience as a Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow at ICIQ and significant postdoctoral research at University of Oxford and Leiden University. The research expertise encompasses photoredox catalysis, mechanistic analysis, and single molecule electronics. Bart Limburg completed a PhD in Chemistry at Leiden University, focusing on the photocatalytic oxidation of water, and holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the same institution. Prior roles include supervising organic chemistry practical courses and conducting research in homogeneous catalysis related to biomass-based synthesis.
