Sebastian J. Gietl

Sebastian J. Gietl is a seasoned academic and marketing professional with extensive experience in cultural and tourism management. Currently serving as a Lecturer Post Doc and Akademischer Rat at the University of Regensburg since April 2011, Sebastian also holds the position of Freelance Marketing Manager at DasKommunikationskontor. Previously, Sebastian worked as the Cultural and Tourism Affairs Director for the City of Freising from August 2004 to March 2011 and was part of the ORGA-TEAM at the World Economic Forum from January 2001 to January 2004. Sebastian earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Cultural Studies from the University of Regensburg in 2015, following a Magister Artium in Folklore, History, and Art History from the same institution in 2003.
