Niklas Lackner

Niklas Lackner is currently a PhD student in Medical Physics at Universitätsklinikum Erlangen, focusing on the integration of surface-guided systems into intelligent 4DCT and developing real-time patient coaching systems. Prior experience includes a role as a Clinical Physics Research scientist at Maastro, where tasks involved Monte Carlo simulations, dosimetry, and managing high-performance computing clusters. Niklas also completed a Master Thesis project at EBG MedAustron GmbH, examining the impact of particle energy spectra in carbon ion beam therapy, and has engaged in internships and tutoring, particularly in physics and engineering subjects. Academic credentials include a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien and a postgraduate course in Medical Physics from the Medical University of Vienna, alongside a Bachelor's in Technical Physics.
