Moushami Mallik is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at UKM Uniklinikum Muenster since July 2023, with previous experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour from June 2018 to May 2022, where research focused on Charcot-Marie-Tooth peripheral neuropathy utilizing Drosophila genetics. Prior to that, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine from March 2011 to May 2018, Moushami received an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship and published significant findings on mutant FUS-associated Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Beginning research career as a PhD Researcher at Banaras Hindu University from 2003 to 2011, Moushami ranked in the top 20% for the National Eligibility Test and contributed to various laboratory and organizational initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Stress Biology and Neurodegenerative Diseases, an MSc in Molecular Human Genetics, and a B.Sc. in Microbiology, Genetics, and Chemistry, all from Banaras Hindu University and Osmania University.
