Prof. Dr. Med. Markus Kasel

Prof. Dr. med. Markus Kasel is currently serving as Leitender Arzt at Universitätsspital Zürich since July 2019, while also holding the position of Consultant/Proctor for Edwards Lifesciences since 2007. Previous experience includes roles as Leitender Oberarzt at Deutsches Herzzentrum München des Freistaates Bayern from July 2011 to June 2019, and Oberarzt at both Universitätsklinikum Augsburg from 2011 to 2016 and Klinikum Bogenhausen from 1992 to 2011. Early career experience includes serving as Assistenzarzt at Klinikum Grosshadern from 1991 to 1992. Prof. Dr. med. Markus Kasel obtained a Staatsexamen in Medicine from the University of Cologne (1984-1989) and completed the Ärztliche Prüfung in Medicine at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (1989-1990) after attending the Technical University of Munich.
