Phd-student And Teaching Assistant at Université Catholique de Louvain

Marine Lefèvre is currently a PhD student and teaching assistant at Université catholique de Louvain since August 2019, with prior experience as a coach in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at My Sherpa from September 2017 to September 2019. Marine completed a master's thesis in bioorthogonal chemistry, focusing on the development of a Bioorthogonal Tsuji-Trost reaction targeting cancer hypoxia. Involvement in the iGEM competition included roles in 2017 and 2018, contributing to projects that aimed to develop CRISPR-Cas9 systems as alternatives to antibiotics and detect UV radiation with bacteria. Marine's educational background includes a master's degree in Chemistry and Bioindustries from Agro Louvain, a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biotechnologies from Institut Paul Lambin, and general secondary education in Mathematics and Science from Institut Saint Jean Baptiste. Previous internships entailed research on cholesterol metabolism and organic synthesis.
