Fadi Kacem

Fadi Kacem has extensive work experience in both academia and industry. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Intern Engineer at SATEC. In 2006, they served as a Software Engineer at Edatis and an Intern Researcher in Computer Networking at ENSI. The following year, they worked as an IT Engineer at Johnson Controls. In 2008, they joined LIP6 - Laboratoire d'Informatique Sorbonne Université/CNRS for an M.Sc Degree Internship. From 2008 to 2012, they held various roles at Université Evry Val Essonne, including Lecturer, Allocataire ministérielle de Recherche, and Lecturer (Moniteur CIES). Fadi then moved to Orange in 2012 as a Post Doctoral Researcher, focusing on Revenue management and Pricing Mobile Data services. Finally, since 2015, Fadi has been working at Université de CARTHAGE as an Assistant professor and head of the computer department.

Fadi Kacem completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Université d'Évry, from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the same university, from 2007 to 2008.

Earlier in their academic journey, from 2003 to 2006, Fadi Kacem attended ENSI - Ecole Nationale des Sciences de l'Informatique, where they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science. Before that, from 2001 to 2003, they studied at IPEIT - Institut Préparatoire aux Etudes d'Ingénieurs de Tunis, focusing on Mathematics and Physics with a degree named Math Sup and Math Spé.

In terms of secondary education, Fadi Kacem graduated from Lycée Pilote de l'Ariana (LPA) in 2001, where they obtained a diploma called Bac Math, specializing in Mathematics.

Additionally, Fadi Kacem has obtained several certifications, including "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," all from Coursera, and "Business Process Analyst" from IBM. Fadi obtained these certifications in 2020 and 2017 respectively.
