Fernando Alvarez

Fernando Alvarez currently serves as Directeur Fermes et Animaleries at Université de Montréal and has held the position of Veterinaire animaux de laboratoire at Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since September 2014. With a robust background in veterinary medicine, Alvarez's experience includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University, where responsibilities encompassed teaching, student mentorship, and experimental protocol development. Prior clinical experience ranges from practicing as a veterinarian at Clinique vétérinaire Sainte-Anne-Des-Plaines to internships related to veterinary pharmacology and competitive racing equine medicine.
