Gareth Lim is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in physiology and biochemistry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Université de Montréal and a researcher at CRCHUM since September 2016, Gareth has previously held the roles of Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia, where research focused on pancreatic beta-cell function and glucose homeostasis. Educationally, Gareth earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Biology and Pharmacology from McMaster University. Earlier research positions include work as a Research Assistant at Health Canada and McMaster University, contributing to studies on toxicological interactions and cell culture techniques.
