Naglaa Shoukry is a Professor at Université de Montréal and a Principal Investigator at CRCHUM, with extensive experience in supervising research laboratories focused on Immunology and Virology. Shoukry has held academic roles as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Medicine, actively participating in teaching and various academic committees. As Director of the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC), Shoukry oversaw a nationwide collaboration aimed at improving outcomes for individuals living with hepatitis C. Experience also includes a Visiting Associate Professorship at Rockefeller University and postdoctoral research utilizing the chimpanzee model for HCV infection. Academic training includes a Ph.D. from McGill University and a B.Pharm from Cairo University.
