Wael Saleh, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of political science and Islamic studies. Currently serving as a conseiller at TRENDS Research & Advisory since January 2025, Wael holds multiple roles including member of the coordination committee for PLURIEL and chargé de cours at Université de Montréal. As a principal research advisor at Université de Montréal and co-founder and director of The Institute of Post-Arab Spring Studies, Wael has significantly contributed to research on post-Arab Spring dynamics. Additionally, Wael is involved with Éditions l'Harmattan as the director of the collection on post-Arab Spring studies and serves as an associated researcher at the Raoul-Dandurand Chair. With a Ph.D. in applied human sciences and substantial postdoctoral experience, Wael Saleh is a notable figure in the academic exploration of socio-cultural and political issues in the Middle East and beyond.
