Irene Mathijssen

Irene Mathijssen is a prominent figure in the field of craniofacial surgery, currently serving as Vice-President of the International Society for Craniofacial Surgery and actively involved in various prestigious roles, including Invited Speaker for the Whitaker Lecture of the American Society of Craniofacial Surgery and Speaker at International Innovations in Craniofacial Surgery. Mathijssen holds the position of Head of Plastic Surgery and Professor of Craniofacial Anomalies at Erasmus MC since December 2016, along with roles as Visiting Professor at Uppsala University Hospital and Coordinator for the European Reference Network on Craniofacial Anomalies and ENT Disorders.
