Sofri Yahya

Sofri Yahya, Ph.D., is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience at Universiti Sains Malaysia from June 1998 to the present, where roles have included Professor in Strategic Innovation and former Dean. Sofri has held various positions such as Lecturer, Programme Chair, Senior Lecturer, Deputy Director, Deputy Dean, and Associate Professor in Accounting and Strategy. Additionally, Sofri served as Deputy Vice Chancellor at DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia from July 2018 to October 2020, focusing on academic and research initiatives. Sofri's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Accounting and an MSocSc in Accounting and Management Sciences from the University of Southampton, as well as a BBA in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University. Further development in design thinking was achieved through a certification from the Design Thinker Academy in 2018.
