Norliza Katuk

Norliza Katuk has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as Deputy Director of Global Engagement and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Information and Communication Technology at Universiti Utara Malaysia, where employment began in July 2000. With a progression through various roles, including Associate Professor, International Relations Manager, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, and Tutor, significant contributions have been made to the institution. Additionally, Norliza held the position of Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation at the School of Computing from April 2019 to April 2023 and coordinated the MSc Cybersecurity program. Prior to that, from January 2014 to December 2018, Norliza coordinated the MSc in IT program. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Information Technology from Massey University and a Master's degree in Information Security from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
