Gabriel Miller currently serves as President and CEO of Universities Canada since March 2024, and has held the same position at the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences since March 2017. Previously, Gabriel was Vice President of Public Issues, Policy and Cancer Information at the Canadian Cancer Society from July 2014 to January 2020, and held multiple roles at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, including Director of Government and Media Relations and Senior Policy Analyst from 2007 to April 2014. Earlier career experience includes advisory roles at the City Manager's Office and work with City Councillor Janet Stavinga. Gabriel Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Philosophy from Queen's University between 1994 and 1999, and attended South Carleton High School from 1989 to 1994.
