Linda Neergaard Parker

Linda Neergaard Parker is an accomplished physicist with extensive experience in space weather and environments. Currently serving as the Director of the Science and Technology Institute at USRA since September 2022, Linda also owns and operates Space Weather Solutions, LLC, while acting as the Principal Physicist. As the Deputy for Space Weather and Spacecraft Charging to the NASA Space Environments Technical Fellow, responsibilities include conducting assessments for the NASA Engineering Safety Council. Previously held positions include Director and Associate Director at USRA, and leadership roles at Jacobs Technology, where oversight of technical teams and project management were key responsibilities. Linda holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor's Degree in Music from The University of Southern Mississippi.
