Michelle Clark, LCSW, currently serves as the Lead Clinical Oncology Social Worker at the University Cancer & Blood Center since May 2022, where expertise in oncology social work is utilized. Prior experience includes roles as a Medical Social Worker at Kindred at Home from September 2017 to June 2022, and a Social Worker at Abridge Aging Life Care Management in 2020. Michelle also worked as a Medical Social Worker at Fresenius Kidney Care and served as a Psychosocial Specialist and Volunteer Coordinator at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida from September 2000 to June 2015. Additional roles include a Social Worker position at St Marys Hospital in 2015 and a Victim Advocate/Volunteer Coordinator at Mothers Against Drunk Driving from September 1996 to August 1997. Michelle holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Georgia (1994-1996) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Elon University (1989-1993).

The University Cancer & Blood Center is a facility that combines diagnostic imaging to visualize cancers with therapy to treat them, boosting patient-centered care and providing more individualized care. They will be with all patients every step of the way to explain unfamiliar concepts and help each patient understand what to expect before,during, and after treatment.
