Sarah Shanewise

Sarah Shanewise is a skilled Physician Assistant with extensive experience in breast health and emergency medicine. Currently serving at the University Cancer & Blood Center since November 2022, Sarah specializes in the Comprehensive Breast Health Program. Prior to this role, Sarah worked at PIEDMONT ATHENS SPECIALTY CARE LLC from September 2021 to October 2022, focusing on breast surgery. Additional experience includes positions at Georgia Emergency Medicine Specialists from November 2014 to August 2021 and Covenant Emergency Physicians from May 2013 to November 2014. Sarah holds a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from South University, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Georgia's Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, earned in 2006.
