Rachel Tarplee

Rachel Tarplee has extensive experience in the education sector, starting as a Lecturer of Biology and Applied Sciences and progressing to various leadership roles including Department Director and Associate Director at Birmingham Metropolitan College. Currently serving as the Vice Principal - Curriculum and Quality at Blackburn College, Rachel also held previous roles as Assistant Principal in both Teaching and Learning and Sixth Form. Rachel holds a B.Med.Sci (honours) in Biomedical Materials Science from the University of Birmingham and a PGCE Certificate in Education. Rachel furthered their education by obtaining a Level 7 Management qualification from the Chartered Management Institute.
