University City Science Center
Ian Dardani is a STEM Founders Fellow at the University City Science Center, engaged in a 12-month program to gain startup experience and support research commercialization. Dardani completed a PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where research focused on developing an amplified RNA FISH method for gene expression profiling. Previous experience encompasses consulting for pharmaceutical and biotech firms at Artisan Healthcare Consulting, conducting research on wearable devices during an internship at Cambridge Consultants, and product development engineering at Unilife Corporation, which included designing dosing mechanisms for insulin patch pumps. Dardani's foundational education includes a Master’s Degree in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
