Melissa Kurman currently serves as the Impact and Evaluation Manager at the University City Science Center, where responsibilities include managing data collection, metric tracking, and reporting for STEM workforce and education programs. Previously held roles include Research and Evaluation Coordinator and Program Facilitator at the Science Center's FirstHand program. Melissa's academic background includes a Master's degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Temple University. Professional experience also includes research roles at Temple University and the Ocean Exploration Trust, emphasizing interests in evolutionary ecology and deep-sea coral research.
