Jens Mejer Pedersen is the current rector at University College Lillebælt. Prior to their current position, Pedersen worked as the rector at UCL Erhvervsakademi og Professionshøjskole for 3 years and 11 months. Jens also served as the vice president and head of educational departments within vocational education, further education, Comptetence Centre and Leadership College at Niels Brock for 2 years and 7 months.
Pedersen has been working in the education field for over 9 years. Jens has experience in leading and managing different educational institutions and has been responsible for overseeing the operations of various departments. Jens has also played a key role in developing strategic partnerships with other educational institutions.
Under Pedersen’s leadership, University College Lillebælt has become one of the leading educational institutions in Denmark. The college offers a wide range of technical and business-related programs at both the academy and bachelor’s level. It also has a strong partnership with the University of Southern Denmark.
Jens Mejer Pedersen has a post graduate certificate in Management from Henley Business School - Danmark (2018 - 2019), a Center for Ledelse (2005 - 2006), and a cand. psych from Aarhus Universitet (1980 - 1987).
