P Edmunds

Head of Physics at University College School

P Edmunds is the Head of Physics at University College School. Prior to this, they were the Head of Physics at Harris Academy Bermondsey, where they implemented a new three year knowledge-rich KS3 curriculum (for science) that prioritised students knowing more & remembering more. P Edmunds has also made curricular decisions in KS4/5 physics & delivered CPD to staff on a variety of topics. They have also been responsible for mentoring a school direct trainee.

Before working at Harris Academy Bermondsey, P Edmunds worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London within the Centre for Cold Matter group. Their research was directed towards the measurement of time-reversal symmetry violation in YbF Molecules.

P Edmunds has also worked as a tutor for Winterwood Tutors, where they tutored GCSE and A-Level mathematics and physics. They have experience with all examination boards and have a strong track record in helping struggling students attain A/A* grades.

P Edmunds has a PhD in Atomic/Molecular Physics from UCL, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Distinction from Kingston University, and an MSci in Physics from UCL.
