Andreas Lehrach

Head Of Accelerator Physics at Research Center Julich

Andreas Lehrach is an accomplished physicist with extensive experience in accelerator physics. Currently serving as the Head of Accelerator Physics and Acting Director at Forschungszentrum Jülich since January 2001, Andreas has also been a Universitätsprofessor at RWTH Aachen University since July 2013. Prior roles include Privatdozent at Universität Bonn from September 2008 to June 2013, and Associate Research Fellow at Brookhaven National Laboratory from January 1999 to December 2000. Andreas began the scientific career at Forschungszentrum Jülich as a Postdoktorand from January 1995 to December 1998 and has also worked as a PhD student in the same field. Educational achievements include a Habilitation and Promotion in Physics from The University of Bonn, complemented by a Diplom in Physics from the same institution.
