Stephen Jude is a highly experienced aviation professional with a background in flight test engineering and military leadership. Currently serving as a Research Pilot at UCAR since October 2023, Stephen previously worked as a Flight Test Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation. From August 2021 to August 2023, Stephen held the position of Commander at the United States Space Force's 17 TES Detachment 1, leading a team focused on testing Space Based Missile Warning Systems. Stephen's tenure with the United States Air Force spanned nearly a decade, during which roles included Experimental Test Pilot, Flight Commander overseeing operations for a squadron, and Instructor Pilot responsible for training combat-ready pilots. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Flight Test Engineering from Air University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the United States Air Force Academy.
