Candice Brooks

Candice Brooks currently serves as a Community Relations Officer at University Health KC since August 2022, while also holding the position of Sr. Director, Community Health Strategies & Innovation at Bluford Healthcare Leadership Institute since January 2021. In this role, Candice is committed to eliminating healthcare disparities by developing a pipeline of diverse, culturally competent talent aimed at improving community health outcomes. Previously, Candice was the Corporate Director of Guest Services at Truman Medical Centers from October 2004 to June 2020. Candice holds a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix (2007-2009) and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a focus on Psychology and Sociology from Avila University (2000-2004).
