Julie Simpson

Julie Simpson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at UT Medical Center, where leadership involves executing the Workforce Strategic Plan and presenting results to the Board of Directors at the 710-bed academic medical center. Previously, at GE Power, Julie was the Country HR Leader and managed a team during the critical acquisition integration of Alstom. Additionally, at Alstom Power, Julie held multiple roles, including Regional HR Director and Director of Human Resources, contributing to significant HR initiatives across the organization. Julie’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
