Linton Townes

Linton Townes has extensive experience in healthcare information systems, serving in various leadership roles since 2002. Currently, Linton holds the position of Director of the Cerner Clinical Solutions Team at UT Medical Center, after previously managing the same team. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Implementations at Clinicient and working as an Information Systems Specialist at Martha Jefferson Hospital - Sentara. Additional roles span Technical Architect at Medsphere Systems Corporation and Technical Manager at Picis, among others. Linton began a career in sports as a professional basketball player, competing for teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers and playing internationally. Linton holds a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and an MCSE certification in Information Technology from RRTC.
